Jonathan D. Zamora, DDS, has over 25 years of experience in dentistry and puts an emphasis on continuing education to steadily perfect his craft. Dr. Zamora has practiced in group practice settings, as well as starting his own private practice in Walnut Creek, CA. In 1999, he became the Dental Director of a non-profit clinic at Western Sierra Dental Clinic in Downieville, CA, where he sometimes revisits to help with patients. Since moving to Las Vegas in 2005, he has held several dentist staff positions. Currently he is practicing with Dr. Rex Liu at Family and Cosmetic Dentistry located here in Las Vegas. Dr. Zamora had extensive training in complex restorative dentistry, dental implants and orofacial pain.
Dr. Zamora enjoys volunteering for such community programs as Give Kids a Smile and Huntridge Teen Clinic. When not beautifying smiles, he loves going whitewater rafting, kayaking, snowboarding, sailing and wake boarding. Quite the active fellow, he recently added triathlons to his list of hobbies. He has been happily married to his wife Monica since 2003, and they both take care of two rather cute dogs: Sneaky and Ziggy.
Education
Dr. Zamora graduated from Ohio State University in 1984 and the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry in 1988 where he obtained degrees of biology and Doctor of Dental Surgery. He frequently engages in continuing education courses on dental implants, endodontics, reconstructive and restorative dentistry, and temporomandibular disorders.
